The International Relations Office participates in numerous activities involving international organizations in and out of San Antonio. This page will be used to help promote not only events directly organized by this office but also to serve as an information base for anyone interested in finding out what is going on internationally in San Antonio.
We invite all international organizations and groups in San Antonio to submit information of their events to our office by e-mail. Please include the following information about your event: Name of Organization, Name of event, Location, Date, Times, Web link for the event, Name and full contact information of the P.O.C (point of contact) regarding the event. You are also encouraged to include an attachment in PDF format with a flyer about the event.

Downtown San Antonio will be aglow on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011 with the third annual Diwali San Antonio Festival of Lights. This year’s event takes place once again at HemisFair Park by the Tower of the Americas and runs from 5-10 p.m. Hosted by the City of San Antonio’s International Relations office, the India Association of San Antonio (IASA) and the Alamo Asian American Chamber of Commerce, this free event celebrates Indian culture and traditions, while also showcasing the City’s Sister-City Agreement with Chennai, India and its efforts to provide quality cultural programming to all San Antonians. Due to the fireworks ban currently in place, there will be a laser light show instead.
